One of the emerging issues in Christian counseling today is providing the kind of intensive, loving care which huge numbers of people in the church need in order to receive healing for their broken lives. To enable persons to come to ‘maturity in Christ’ and develop to the fullness of personality we call the “image of Christ” represents an enormous challenge to the body of Christ.
